Two Princes Season 2 is out!

Season 1 was my first real sound design gig and it was one my favorite projects I have ever had. Between sculpting dragons and monsters or building haunted castles and enchanted forests, the lego-maker in me was going crazy with excitement.

Season 2 was just the same experience but this time with ghosts, sirens, a hydra and an EVEN better script from writer Kevin Christopher Snipes.

The headline is one of my favorite lines from the show. It's from the VERY funny Episode 4. I thought it captured the shameless self-regard of this post.

Two Princes is a scripted podcast from Gimlet Media and Spotify.

Diplomacy Music provided Additional Sound Design and Mix.

SEASON 2: Princes Rupert and Amir can’t wait to settle down into happily ever after. But on the eve of their wedding, a powerful sorceress named Malkia invades their kingdom. Driven from their castle, the princes set off on a quest to collect an assortment of magical items that will give them the power to defeat Malkia and save their realm.

The Two Princes stars Noah Galvin (Booksmart, Dear Evan Hansen), Ari’el Stachel (The Band’s Visit), Samira Wiley (Orange Is the New Black, The Handmaid’s Tale), Ali Stroker (Tony award winner for Oklahoma), Cynthia Erivo (Harriet, The Color Purple), Tonya Pinkins (Madam Secretary, Fear the Walking Dead, Tony Award for Jelly’s Last Jam). The Two Princes was written by Kevin Christopher Snipes and directed by Mimi O’Donnell.

I am very excited to announce that #GimletMedia just released the follow up to last year's hit "The Horror of Dolores Roach" featuring sound design, foley and mix by Diplomacy Music.

It's a horror (VERY ADULT) scripted podcast about Dolores, a woman trying to put her life back together in NYC after 15 years in prison. She ends up.... well.... biting off more than she can chew... so to speak.... ahem.

What I'm trying to say is the show features a lot of cannibalism.

Which means as sound designer and foley artist, I had to produce the sounds of murdering, butchering, and eating humans. It. Was. Crazy.

But so much fun.

I recorded cans of soup, 15 different doors and footstep locations, cutting and ripping up fruits, and myself sitting quietly in a room full of garbage bags.

The Horror Dolores Roach Season 2.

Out now from Gimlet Media and Spotify
